LonWorks Configurable Controllers - Lighting On-Off or Dimming
Distech Controls offers a wide range of configurable controllers to manage lighting through On-Off or 1-10VDC dimming.
Our Lighting Controllers:
- manage automatic control of lighting in multiple offices and large work areas (depending on configuration)
- manage the varying lighting between window and corridor sides (depending on Lux-level measure and presence
- detection)
- make available on the LonWorks network the occupancy mode, the light intensity, the fan speed, the set point offset and
- the temperature (for a multi energy management)
- provide a modular solution when combined with our graphics configuration software: no requirement to modify your
- installation when repartitioned
- fit into a policy of reducing energy consumptions: lighting automation maximizes energy
- savings (up to 59% expected savings on electrical consumptions)
- can operate in 'stand alone' or integrated into a BMS (communication via the LonWorks open and interoperable network)
CTR-4L and CTR-8L Series
Applications: control 4 or 8 On-Off light outputs
- 230VAC controller
- Lighting control in 4 rooms with a single controller (factory configuration)
- Can connect up to 4 RJ9 accessories (receivers or multi-sensors...)
- Receive orders issued by infrared, radio or EnOcean remote controls
- Acquire presence information provided by a multi-sensor
- Manage occupancy modes, provided by the BMS (occupied, unoccupied and standby)
CTR-4LD and CTR-8LD Series
Applications: control 4 or 8 dimming light outputs - 1-10VDC
- 230VAC controller
- Lighting control in 4 rooms with a single controller (factory configuration)
- Can connect up to 4 RJ9 accessories (receivers or multi-sensors...)
- Receive orders issued by infrared, radio or EnOcean remote controls

Additional Products: Input/Output Modules (IOM)
Used in addition to our lighting and sunblind controllers, I/O Modulescan achieve automatic detection (acquisition of states and controls) and send the information to a contact (NO or NC) on the LonWorks network.
They can be interfaced with accessories such as sensors, push-buttons, switches, contacts (I/O device) and use the "toggle" On/Off function, or pulse counting...
Zoom into the IOM-6DI-6DO module:allows the automatic control of additional light and/or sunblind functions; through the intelligence of a lighting or sunblind controller.
Additional Product : ITR Module
Connected to a CTR or to an IRC, the ITR module allows the connection of 4 receivers, multi sensors or push-button interfaces, for additional RJ9 inputs.
It can receive commands emitted by infrared or radio remote controls. The 4 room managers enable to send received commands.
Integrated in a BMS, it makes available sunblinds and HVAC data on the network (availabillity of variables). All infrared or radio accessories are fully compatible with the ITR, directly connected to a digital RJ9 input.
